About LPCC BID
The Leimert Park Crenshaw Corridor Business Improvement district is a 501(c)6 non-profit business association that is ordained by the City of Los Angeles to collect additional property assessments in order to provide specific beneficial services. The services LPCC BID provides are detailed in the management district plan. The management district plan was reviewed and adopted by Los Angeles City Council.
LPCC is governed by a seven member Board of Directors who are either assessed property owners or they are business owner tenants in the BID area. The day to day operations are managed by an Executive Director who reports to the Board of Directors.
This added level of service provided by the Leimert Park Crenshaw Corridor Business Improvement District continues to attract diverse food options, specialty retail and niche entertainment businesses to the area. LPCC BID is committed to investing resources into cleanliness, beautification, safety and areawide marketing for the benefit of all the included properties.
Our mission is to boost the economic vitality of the area. We support existing businesses and add value by attracting diverse food, retail, service and entertainment businesses through our efforts to foster a good business environment. LPCC BID is Los Angeles’ cultural and economic epicenter for a wide diaspora of African descendants.
The Greater Crenshaw Boulevard Leimert Park Business Improvement District (BID) is a private, non-profit corporation created and maintained by property owners. We serve the Crenshaw Corridor/Leimert Park community -- businesses, residents, visitors, and more. Our mission is to help facilitate and provide a clean, safe, and collaborative environment to live, work and play.
Established in 2010, the BID provides clean and safe services over what the City provides, as well as marketing and events. The Crenshaw Corridor Leimert Park BID is 1 of over 40 BIDs in the City of Los Angeles. A binding assessment levied on property owners funds BID activities, and a 7-member Board of Directors elected by district property owners oversees the organization while a part-time manager leads day-to-day operations.
